a cold day in venice

finally it was the long awaited long weekend! i took a short trip to the venice canals and here are the pictures from the last veteran's day weekend. it was very quiet and calming at the venice canals. though it was a saturday, not many people were there.. only a family of ducks on the water! >_<

love is all around

it's that time of the year again! everywhere you go, you see Christmas trees and holiday decorations on all the trees and street lights around town. it got a little colder here, but winter is definitely my favorite season! i can't wait until Thanksgiving and Christmas to gather up with my family and to chat through the night while sipping hot cocoa and sitting by a nice roaring fireplace!

 on my way to a doctor's appointment! :(

a lazy weekend..

it was such a warm and relaxing weekend for me after rows of exams. i just slept in until early afternoon and was craving something sweet so i finally gave the famous local donut shop a try; paired with a cup of iced americano, their peanut butter and banana donut was the perfect brunch for me (i got too excited and ate the donuts before taking pics..oopsies!). i just hung out at starbucks near my studio and enjoyed some sunshine :)

then i headed to the mall for some eye shopping!
